. . . .In a new twist to the sad story of the demise of the local scrap yard
owner, witnesses have come forward, looking to tell their story. One
anonymous man, who only gave us his first name of "Stephen," reported that
he heard loud metallic noises coming from behind the 10' high walls of the
junkyard. He said the noises sounded like a car crusher, except he thought
it sounded "backwards." Shortly after that, several witnesses heard the
roar of an older car engine and the squeal of tires. At least they THOUGHT
the squeal was coming from a car's tires. One man disagreed, saying he
thought the sound was almost human. . . .
