For about a week I've seen your comments about brake
shoes and who charges what and good/lousy service/attitude.
Have you tried to have your brake shoes re-lined. For
instance, in the Chrysler 300 Club publication "Brute Force"
an advertiser 'can rivet-reline your "core" brake shoes'. etc.

Also in Hemmings are 2 ads for relining brake shoes:

Check them out. I'm sure there are others out there.
