I always drive with my headlights on, even in the brightest sunlight (I can
see oncoming cars with their lights on easier even when the sun is shining
in my eyes). It makes visual contact of oncoming cars easier when passing
etc. Daytime runnning lights became standard in Canada a few years back, and
there has been a reduction in the number of accidents. Just like seatbelts
and third brake lights, some folks refuse to believe they will contribute to
safer roads.
