Re: [FWDLK] Need 1957 DeSoto brake hoses

Andy,
Try your local auto parts store like a NAPA. (not a chain store like
auto zone)
One that's not (computerized only) and has paper catalogs and has been
around for awhile. I got ones for my 56 and my 53 Chevy that way. And
much cheaper than an old car parts place.
If there isn't a listing, they should be able to match one up for you.

Hi everyone,

Anybody know a good source of brake hoses for a '57 DeSoto Firedome?
Mine aren't leaking yet, but I've had the car for 8 years, and God only
knows how long before that the previous owners replaced them.

Oh, by the way, I started the car and drove it around a bit yesterday,
for the first time in what seemed like ages. It did fine...until
something
in the exhaust opened up and suddenly the thing sounded like a
high-speed
farm tractor! So it looks like I'll be getting a new exhaust system
soon!

Thanks for any info!
