[FWDLK] metal finish

A while back someone asked what to use to coat the bare metal metal parts
such as the hood latch and hood hinges to keep them from rusting.  I don't
recall the answer.

Watched the ABC Evening News tonight.  The last feature was the history of
air conditioning, and when they got to the '50's, putting air conditioning
into cars, there was a '57 DeSoto sedan!!!
