[FWDLK] Incorrect Borg-Warner Part?

I have a '55 Savoy with a flathead 6 (more about that next time).  My local
part store provided me with an ignition wire set, Borg-Warner part number
CH616.  I went to put it on, and discovered that the wires are far too
short.  The shortest should be about 20", yet some of the new wires were
less than a foot.

I then went to the new parts section of the Forward Look Web to get a sanity
check -- it reports the same number!

What gives here?
