My friend has a theory about radial white walls...He says the white walls can't help but stain. Think about it. They ride flatter than bias ply. They get hotter and the white discolors throughout. All the Brillo in the world won't clean it as the discoloration permeates the rubber. His '57 Buick is proof. His virtually unworn radials which came on the car a year ago cannot be cleaned. That's his theory and he's stickin' to it. Any career tire professionals out there? |
