To find the source of a draining battery the method I use begins by disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery. Connect your test light between the battery post and the disconnected negative cable.If your test light is on or lit, with your keys out of the ignition switch, you have a short circuit somewhere. Begin pulling fuses or disconnecting circuits untill the test light shuts off.When the test light shuts off you`ve found the faulty circuit. |
