Re: [FWDLK] 58 Plymouth questions

The filter on the end of the fuel tank pickup is still available
from your local Mopar dealer. It is called a "fuel inlet
strainer" and is Chrysler # 1670694. The pickup/ gauge to tank
gasket is also still available as # 1948757. Both very
inexpensive. Both were used many years by Mopar throughout its
lines.

Subject: 58 Plymouth questions

Hello list,
My 58 Plymouth Savoy 318 needs a starter. Can I put a newer
style
starter in it's place? How about an alternator to replace the
generator?
I also need a fuel tank pick up, however I may only need a float
and
filter, they apparently got lost over the years.
 Thanks for any help.
