Re: [FWDLK] rear end

Robert,

I have been told by a very experienced Mopar collector that 65 to 68 "C"
body 8 3/4 rear ends would fit my 56 Dodge. I am interested in a Sure Grip.
The location of the leaf spring mounts is supposed to be the same. I am not
sure about the pinion angle. The drive shaft may require modification for
length and/or U-joint mount. This should be easy for a drive shaft shop to
do. I do not have direct experience with this change, only experienced
advice.

Hi All.
I was told that a 1968 fury rear end would fit in my 57 Plymouth Belvedere.
Know what I am wondering is a 1968 Imperial rear end the same as the fury 3
rear end.
I know that there is a mod. that I have do to the drive shaft but I do not
know what that is.
Does any one know what to do make this work.
I am trying to up grade my braking system.
Thank you. Bob Hanekamp
