Re: [FWDLK] Poly Motor Oil Pan

Nico,

I can't say for sure, but I would suspect that the late 56 Plymouth V8s
(277, 303, 301) had a rear oil pan sump. These are essentially the same
engine as the Poly 318. The steering system on 55/56 Plymouth and Dodge V8s
required a rear sump. In 57. the sump was moved forward.

Subject: [FWDLK] Poly Motor Oil Pan

Folks, does anyone know if any of the 318 poly motor oil pan came in a
rear sump configuration? Anyone know, maybe a truck? or does anyone
know if a late model LA 318 pan will interchange. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely, Nico Over
