Re: [FWDLK] Stuff I'm selling. . .

After driving Mr. Finzzz (for new members, that's my '57 Fury) to work today, in celebration of probably one of the last nice days we'll have here before the winter rains begin, I got to thinking I should probably reduce some of the inventory of things I really don't need any more.  So now I have a few things available for sale:

'64 Chrysler 300 2 door hardtop, non-letter car, newly rebuilt: 383, Torqueflite, and brakes.  Needs to be done:  paint and interior.  Car runs great.  I was driving it to work, but gas prices are forcing me to drive something more fuel efficient, and the fact I'd like to clear more space for something with fins means this car must go!!

'57 De Soto Firesweep Sportsman 4 door hardtop.  Interesting body design with the 4 door hardtop, but this is a parts car only, unfortunately, due to severe rust.  Car is all there, non-hemi V-8, Torqueflite, all trim and bumpers are there and relatively nice, plus this car is equipped with dual rear antennas!  At this time, I will not pull parts, want to sell the whole thing only.  Would be really pretty if it were restorable, but should be an excellent parts car.  1/4 panels and front fenders may be savable, but floors, trunk, frame and hood are pretty far gone.  Windshield cracked, other windows mostly good - Solex tinted.  Make me an offer!

I also have a couple of front clips for '58 Plymouth.  These include fenders, inner fenders, hood, complete grille, V-8 medallion, headlights and pods, turn signals, and one has fender trim.  They are not perfect, some dings and surface rust, but should be usable in a restoration project.  One clip is from a lower model car and does not have holes in the fenders where trim would've gone.

I also have a later model highway Hi-Fi, the 1959-61 version that was made by RCA Victor.  The radio and record player unit are both there, have been bench tested and are in nice condition.  Just a little dusty.

I live in Sutherlin, Oregon, 97479.  I am unable to deliver the cars, so you can either come get 'em or you can make arrangements for an auto shipper.  I would be confident driving the 300 anywhere, so you could drive it home, but you'll definitely need a trailer if you are interested in the De Soto.

I have been offline for awhile due to computer problems, and for the same reason I don't have pics right now, but I've dealt with many listmembers, and I will provide a detailed, accurate description of any item you have an interest in.  If you have any questions regarding these items, please email me privately.  As for prices, I'm entertaining offers (or trades), so hit me with your best offer!!
