Remote mounts for spin-on oil filters are still available from companies
like FRAM and AC. Mostly used by racing folks.

If you can find one, Rambler had a spin on filter that was separate from the
engine and the adaptor was piped for copper lines as per canister. I am
going to use one on my '47 Plymouth

FML: Can anyone recommend an adapter to use the modern "spin-on" filter
cartridges for a 270 Ply/Dodge Poly motor? Worst case scenario, what oil
filter element goes with the canister, CH236APL?
Thanks,
Gary Pavlovich.
