Re: [FWDLK] oil filter conversion kit

If you have an A series engine, 277/301/303/318/326, you can get an adapter
for it at your Mopar dealer. Ask for P/Ns:
 tube 3671602
plate 2402103
gasket 3671314
If you have an early Hemi/Poly, you can get an adapter from:
Kent Redd (417) 467-2256
Route 1, Box 62
Pleasant Hope, MO 65725
I have one on my Dodge.

Subject: [FWDLK] oil filter conversion kit

I recently went to Kragen to purchase a conversion kit only to be told the
Chrysler kit discontinued. The Kragen clerk called Napa and was told that
Napa had also discontinued them. The clerk said that if I owned a Chevy or a
Ford I could still get one. Then I went online to JCWhitney and could not
find one. So I called JCWhitney and was told they could not help me with
that product. I'm a little stuck. Kragen still makes a cartridge filter for
my car, but our store does not/will not stock them. The oil hasn't been
changed in my car in the 7 years it has been sitting. Does anyone have any
idea if there is a company who still makes a conversion kit for Chrysler?
