[FWDLK] 57/58 Fuel gauge resistance-specs needed, please

I am presently bench-testing/dialing-in the operation (Full & Empty
'readings') on my car's fuel gauge, but need to know the
"resistance-range " of the rheostat/potentiometer, of the gas tank
sending unit, so that I could accurately adjust the 'span/swing' of
the indicator-needle , with the 2 'needle'-adjusters, on the gauge.

With the "resistance" information, I can , then, use a dial-resister
unit to simulate the correct amount of current that the gauge would
experience, @ Full & Empty tank levels.

Also, does anyone know "how linear" the resistance may be , in the tank
sending unit?

I'll be happy to share my 'results', with this Board!!
