Re: [FWDLK] Rear view mirror

I have an after market  kit to move the mirror to the roof and a plug for the hole on the dask( it looks like a plug for an electrical entrance box) and I have seen another kit of this kind on E-BAY. Item # Item # 1828255766   This item just sold.

Lou,

First time I've heard of such a kit for '57s. Did you get a Mopar part # for
the kit?

Hey,everyone:I attended a local car show yesterday and as usual there were
more Metropolitans then Forward Look cars there. However,I parked my
58'Belvedere alongside a 57'Windsor with a 2x4 392 under the hood.Nice
car,but it had a neat feature. The interior rear view mirrior was mounted
along the upper edge of the windshield frame. The Windsor's owner told me
about a re-location kit from Mopar he found. It even included a chrome plug
to cover the hole left when you moved the mirror to it's new location.Any
list members out there have such a mod on their car? Thanks,Lou Cortese.
