I have been told that you can use a 69 - 73 full size Chrysler product rear
end without changing anything.  I believe they are 54" from backing plate to
backing plate!   Not sure on the measurement....I have one from a 69 Newport
convert to go in my 59 Sub., and I know the measurement is the same.    John
