[FWDLK] Master cylinder interchange

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use a non-power brake master
cylinder in lieu of a power brake master cylinder?  The car is a '61
Chrysler Newport with power brakes.  The master cylinder went out on it
and I just need to get the car home.  I have a good '61 Chrysler
non-power brake master cylinder at home.  Once I get the car home I can
rebuild the bad master cylinder.  I am trying to prevent getting it
towed.  I hate using up my tow card if I don't have to.  Any info.
