Re: [FWDLK] 56 Chrysler

A 1956 Chrysler Windsor with a poly 331 and 4-bbl carb? The 331 poly was
used on American-built Windsors, but they came only with a 2-bbl carb and
had no 4-bbl option.

Canadian-built 1956 Chrysler Windsors came with a poly 303-cid V8 and 4-bbl
carb, though. That is how Chrysler of Canada got the power of the 303 to
match that of the U.S. 331,

The 1956 Dodge Custom Royal used the same engine with a 2-bbl carb.
Chrysler of Canada also shipped the block to Detroit for the 1956 Plymouth
Fury. The 303 was used again in 1957 for the Plymouth and Plymouth-based
Dodge with either a 2-bbl or 4-bl carb.
