[FWDLK] New Torsion Bars

The following is from the Chrysler 300 Club listserver (nat'l dues paying members only) and regards a company interested in reproducing Chrysler 300 Letter Car torsion bars.

These would be the Heavy Duty bars that would fit many '57-59 ForwardLook cars to make your cars front end ride and handle.

If you are interested in seeing this project reach fruition, call or drop an e-mail to Firm Feel as suggested below and let them know that this market is larger than just the comparative few Letter Cars that are around.

The guys in Michigan thawed out and sent this:

   Club member Sam Molina (Colorado), has been in contact with a company,
Firm Feel, Inc. They remanufacture/rebuild steering gear assemblies. The
person there, Dick, has shown an interest in manufacturing torsion bars for
the 1957, '58 and '59 letter series 300s. If there are any members
interested in this project, contact Firm Feel, Inc. direct at 360-546-3633.
Email www.firmfeel.com. Ask for Dick. Their initial projected cost would be
in the $250.00 range for a pair, right and left.
