[FWDLK] Shipping large parts

When I bought a 727 from New York ands needed it shipping to Oregon the
seller arranged shipping through Yellow Freight. They were quick,
efficient, and I was even able to track my shipment on line. But it wasn't
cheap. About $200. coast to coast for a 200 lb item. But it just isn't
cheap to hire even a little bit of a $200,000 truck burning $1.80 per
gallon diesel at 5 or 6 miles per gallon, let's face it. And I expect they
want to be paid for their time too! My tranny cost me more in shipping
than to buy, but that's life.
