The Kruse Auction in Daytona, Fl on April 25 is listing an original Kiekhaefer/Mercury sponsored NASCAR race car. "Original '56 300 B race car" restored to original, white with tan interior. No vin #, no mileage. Could this be real? On a lesser but almost as exciting note, the Kruse Auction in Auburn, IN on May 2, 3 and 4 is listing a #1 '57 Belvedere Convertible, red with white stripe and white top with 2x4bbl carburation having a frame off restoration. Nice car from the picture. Of course I know absolutely nothing about these cars. Just wanted to spread the word. John Paxos |
