Only 6 or 7 years service life?  I'm still pondering that one.  I hope my
truck lasts longer than that!

I have to agree with the statement.   Most vehicles of all manufacturers of the 57-59 vintage and driven in the salt-rust belt were off of the roads by 1965. At least I never saw them after that time.
