[FWDLK] Leaf spring restoration

Hi,

In order to speed up my restoration (and because they do not look too
tired), I decided to keep my old leaf springs, and order only new spring
bolts, bushings and shackles. After all, I can easily replace them
afterwards, if they sag.

Which brings three questions :

- May I disassemble the leaf springs, sandblast them and paint them without
altering them ?
- Where can I find new interlining material as found between each leaf ?
- Is that the same material used between the plate and the leaf spring ?
