[FWDLK] New Acquisition

I am happy to have finally found the final resting place for my 392 Hemi.
I purchased a 1956 Plymouth Savoy w/Hyfire V8 on Ebay. I couldn't pass
it up because it is in good drivable shape and right on my way to

I do have one question. I have a transmission adapter(bellhousing) that
I was told would enable me to bolt up a torqueflite transmission to my
old style hemi, but this car has a powerflite trans. What is the
difference between these transmissions, and does anyone know if the same
bellhousing will work for the powerflite?
