Wow, Nathan, nice car! Your Ebay pics show the late 60's California
"closed-crankcase" emission-system, connecting the valve cover
'breather' and the aircleaner (similar to that '57 " $100k" D500
convertible, & others).
Can anyone give us a 'short-history' on when/how CA mandated, and then
rescinded, this emissions 'requirement'?
btw, What I'd do with that sweet car is "build" the engine, & 'work' the
heads (mebbe Sanderson headers--sure!) and then install some mutiple
-carbs ( 3 - 8 ; what's available, out there?) --it DOES have dual
exhausts? 2 1/4" units with low restriction mufflers should
'work' nicely!
Thick-woven retro seat belts would complement the original interior,
too.
