Dunno about you guys, But I've put P/S fluid (I'm pretty-sure!--yeah,
sure I have!!!--I've got"it" in there, now!) in my 57 power steering
pump.

My pump has previously been rebuilt (like everything else in the car) ,
'cept its headliner, & steering wheel, which are 46 year-still-fine!
