Re: [FWDLK] 1954 truck Hemi

The '54 Dodge Cornets had v8 engines starting with D502-1001 progressing to
D502-110857.

Cheers!

Subject: [FWDLK] 1954 truck Hemi

Hi, I have just encountered a 55 -57 (?) panel-delivery Dodge, which is
being hot-rodded, but, it is sporting a 1954 (embossed "Red-Ram",and
with 'leaping-ram', on the valve covers) Hemi engine, I believe, which
is 'stamped' : D502-94513 .

I've never seen a "D502" engine, before, but it clearly has the original
block-stamping--I can only surmise that 54 truck engines carried this
'prefix'. Any experiences, from anyone?
