Text says he had a 354 built and installed in the car.  Original
D500 would be a single quad 325".  In '57 what would be really rare
and special is the D501 option which would be a '56 300 style hemi.
No claim that this car is an original D501 and I suspect it is not.

Found this on another list.  You "experts" is this a real D500-??
motor.
It does NOT have the solid lifter valvecovers!!  At least from what
I see in
the 2 pics of the motor!
