[FWDLK] Show-boatin Muffs

I just bought 2 galvanized Sono-4 mufflers, for Horace, & will mate them
to aluminized 2 1/4"
"pipes" , but what is the best way to keep them 'polished'/new-looking?

On the (still perfectly good) Aftermarket muffs that I've had on 'him'
since 1981 [I kid you not] , I've applied high-heat paint--currently:
Harley Davidson Engine-Silver---several times, to them, but "now", I'd
like to preserve the "NOS" appearance--should I just apply "Fine-grade"
steel-wool to them, to "shine" them?

Hate a dirty/unsightly undercarriage; like, always wearing "clean"
underwear !
