I will offer this, several years ago I was in the right place:right time.
Bought a set of 56 Plymouth WCFB carbs. (later sold to Richard Main)
The seller told me that his son ran them on a 67-or-68 Dodge B-body
with a 383 for several years and was happy with them, that was untill
the gas went way up.
I speculate that adapters might not have fit under the hood with those
taller WCFB's sittin on em.
