Same here, and I did not "like the looks of it" either (even though it *looked* to be legit).
I did as Dave did and sent it to the ebay "spoof" address.  Got the same response too.

This morning, I received an e-mail from aw-confirm@xxxxxxxx   headed "Security Check".
I opened it, and it was the e-Bay sign in page.     ???
Smelt a nest of rats!    I emailed the message to spoof@xxxxxxxx    which is where you should send any suspicious stuff......they replied within 10 minutes saying that it is a scam.
Be careful out there folks.....there's always someone who wants to steal your details.
