The easiest way to check out what non-USD auction is in USD is very simple:
in the URL, change
the current domain to 'cgi.ebay.com' (US eBay). In this case, change
'cgi.ebay.de' to 'cgi.ebay.com':

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2437198292&category=18301

Now you can see, that "Current bid is EUR 1,510.00 - Approximately  US
$1,750.85"
