Re: [FWDLK] '56 adventurer

Also:

There are currently 7 bids on the car, and the bidding ends on Sunday,
October 19th at 12:46 Middle European Standard Time (I think that's 6:46
am EST). I can't see where Antonello found anything about it coming
from Florida recently. Anyway, it's in northern Germany now, near
Bremen, a major seaport.

This is being offered at about $1,750, and the owner claims that fully
restored versions of the same car are selling for more than $35,000!
Maybe in Germany, but not here by a long shot.

It needs lots of bodywork, but is "complete" and the trim is in
excellent condition. There is upholstery material to finish off the
interior. He doesn't go into detail about equipment, but it has the 341
Hemi with 4bbl and auto trans. Can anyone tell from this b/w pic if
it's an Adventurer?

This was probably taken to Europe by an American GI in the 50's and left
there when his duty was over.
