My 55-8 Parts Book has 1732638 listed as 57 DeS rubber steering wheel with std transmission.  Since your wheel is one number off, could you be looking at a casting number instead of a parts number ?

I can't seem to find part # 1732637 in my parts book, does anyone out there in Forward Look land have a listing & application for this wheel? There is a small possibility it could be in the '57-'58 Truck parts book which I do not have.
