Subject: 1952 331 engine and transmission

Hello

I hope you can help me with some information.  I have a 1952 Chrysler New Yorker engine and transmission.  It is a 331 Hemi engine with the built in (none removable) Bell Housing.  I am trying to locate parts for both the engine and transmission, information as to what (331 parts) fit what blocks.  I have found that the 331 heads will fit the 354 block, but I do not know which years.  Location of good 354 blocks and parts.  If I change to a 354 block it will be easier to update the transmission.  Any information concerning what transmission ( other than OEM 1952) trans will fit the 331's bell housing.  Suggestions in general.

I plan to put the engine into a 1950's Dodge Wayfarer that is street able, dependable and fun to drive.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Dan
