Re: [FWDLK] Fw: MOPAR MOTORHEAD NEEDED,,,350,361,383,413 series

It's quite possible, the early 300 heads used those valve sizes, and it was common for Chrysler to spread the same hardware around the various car lines. The high performance versions of various B & RB motors used those valve sizes in the mid to late sixties. All the 1971 or later big blocks used the 2.08" & 1.74" valve size, even the two barrel carb versions.

Hello List
I guess I am looking for someone (or someone that knows someone) who has some intimate knowledge of the heads used on thes various 'B' engines!!

MY 1959 PLYMOUTH supplement says DISTINCTLY that the 361 in 1959  (305HP) has heads with intake valves of 2.08" and exhaust valves of 1.74".
( No dispute that in 1958 the 350 COMMANDO had 1.95" intakes and 1.60" exhausts.)

I have a few friends check their ORIGINAL 58 and 59 COMMANDO blocks,,,and a D500 block also,,,,ALL have 1.96" intakes and 1.60 exhausts

In checking the CHRYSLER 300 book it looks like all 413s had atleast the 2.08 intake but some had the 1.60 exhaust valves.

MY POINT:  It doesn't make sense that the 59 GOLDEN COMMANDO 361 had 2.08 intakes and 1.74 exhausts?????
But that is what the supplement says.

HELP!!??
