Do you have a pair of brake pliers?  I wouldn't say they make the job
downright easy, but without them, I'd call it almost impossible.  You should
be able to get them anywhere that sells automotive tools....Sears, NAPA,
AutoZone, whatever.  Sometimes, even WITH them, it helps to have a friend
with some needle nose pliers to help get the springs moved the last fraction
of an inch.
