Re: [FWDLK] What color are the transmission and engine in 57 Plymouth Savoy?

Firepower Silver: Mopar # P4529148 (block, heads, intake, water pump, gen.
brackets, pulleys, etc.)
Red Mopar: # P4349218 (valve covers and air cleaner on D500 only)
Golden Lion Gold: # P4529149 (used on Fury and C300 air cleaners)
Semi-gloss black (fan, generator, starter, oil filter shell, oil filler cap,
spark plug wire cover)
POR 15 Engine paints: they have "Silver" and a couple of reds. Maximum
durability if used with recommended preparation methods.

Joey,

The correct color is argent (gray/silver) and I believe you can still buy it
from your local Chrysler or Dodge dealer. Also if you search on the Forward
Look web page you will probably come up with the questions I asked about
this and the answers which should include the item number you can use if you
want to contact the parts folks at your local Chrysler or Dodge dealerships.
I had to order a case of 12 spray cans .

Hi guys and gals! What color are the transmission and engine in a 1957
Plymouth Savoy? My car came home with these unattached. So I said to
myself why not start here? Is this the best way to go about it? Floors
need some help might have to do a frame up restoration. Any help on where
to get pans, rocker panel and dog ears will help.

Thanks,
Joey
