I tend to agree with the comments that the mirror vibration is likely the driveshaft or maybe the engine if the harmonic balancer is bad but most likely the shaft. The interesting thing about vibration is that having the mirror vibrate may be bleeding of some of the vibration from the car. This is often done in commercial operations where a small side object is added to vibrate at a higher frequency so that a large lower frequency vibration can be dampened to prevent serious damage to a piece of equipment.(sort of the vibration equivalent to a sacrificial anode) I think there is an official engineering type name for it but its been a few years since U.
