Re: [FWDLK] An odd grille sighting?

I personally like the "earlier" grill more then the later grill. I
think that it make the front end look more powerful. The "later"
grill does however fit in "style wise" better with the upper part of the
grill.

My five cents worth.

Sherwood K. is correct that the '57 Plymouth lower grille panel was a
very early running production change. I thought amongst my variety of
parts books one of them might list a serial number cutoff number but
do not find that was done.

The early, beginning of production grille panel or lower bumper
valance is PN 1624 728.

The late, balance of production grille panel or lower bumper valance
is PN 1754 196.

Subject: An odd grille sighting?

Hey all. I was going though my pics for my site (in addy below,) for an upcoming redesign, when I saw something that made no sense to me. A pic of a lightly custom '57 Belvy with an odd lower grille. Then I remembered a string of mails from around November 27 about 57-8 grille's, the "half-year models." Here's the pic, please tell me where this grille comes from? http://www.forwardlook.net/furyworld/images/pics/belv/57/69.jpg

(and a normal grille pic to compare to:
