I have used vinyl paint on rubber floor coverings and it
will work ok but will wear off on areas where there is a lot of traffic.Make sure mats are very clean before painting.IF you install mats after painting sometimes paint
will crack and you will have to touch it up after you get it into car.Usually the back will stay nice but you will have to
touch up front now and then but I never saw this as a problem as if you are
careful you can repaint without overspray.Vinyl paint
does not have much overspray.Works good on show cars
but probably not on regular cars. Johnnie Slayton
