Dave, the bogusity of "Christine's" restoration
, ironically, adds verisimility to her actually
BEING a 'legitimate' movie-car, as ALL that movie-producers are
interested-in, is something that looks good, on-screen!
By that same token , go ask Andy Jugle (if you've got a couple hours!)
about what the producers of "Crime Story" did (and DIDN'T-do; like
transfer-title, when they "bought" his car, for the show!) to his 300C.
It seems that a lot of cars, that are 'leased/rented' for movie-use, are
actually fairly abused, during a studio's stewardship over the
car--don't let it get out of your sight!!
