I used the mopar performance kit on my '59 383.  It comes with the
distributor, the orange ignition box, wiring, and a new ballast
resistor.  if you can get a kit that has a distributor that will fit
your engine, this is a pretty easy installation to do, and it remains
"standard" mopar (those ignition modules are available over the counter
in many cases in case yours goes up).
