Sorry but you are in the boat with the rest of us. You'll just have to wait
for the tank to come back from the repair shop. It shouldn't take too long
I would think.
I redid my tank and it took me about a week.

Anyone know where I could find a new or used gas tank for a 58 Desoto
Firesweep, Its my newest purchase but has a few problems. I know i can
just get the old tank redone, but then the car has to lay up for a while
until i get the tank back.
