Canada, I am listed on this
great site but have been absent on the mailing list for over a year or
so.
For those of you I don?t know I own a 58 Plymouth Belvedere 2 dr hard
top. This car I have owned for over four years and several thousand dollars! Not
news to you guys I bet.
When I purchased this car it was a basket case all in pieces and several
hours of work to inventory. She now sits in my garage about half way restored. I
anticipate it will take me two more years and around $2000, 00 bucks to have her
on the road as new.
. My most recent job on the old girl is taking out the engine mounts and
welding in V8 mounts (car was originally a 6 cy). I have a correct year Poly A
type engine with a push button trans so she will look correct. During my years
of working on these old girls I have been forced into fabricating allot of my
own parts as most of everything is now obsolete or do not exists. I have been
selling most of my fabrications on good old E Bay and putting the proceeds back
into the car.
Any way very nice to be back on the list I look forward to hear from a
lot of old friends and would love to make new ones.
