Chrysler did not swap the rights to Ford for the name "Falcon".  Although
Chrysler did build a car called the Falcon in 1955, it was a one-off show
car and not a production vehicle.

In 1959 Chrysler was going to call its new compact the Falcon, but when they
went to register the name they discovered Ford had already registered the
name for their new compact car.

Willys used the name Falcon in 1953 on the lowest priced series of their
compact Aero.  And Willys had built a car in the 1920's called the
Falcon-Knight.
