Yep, I was there both Friday Night and most of Saturday at the "Phoenix Center" in Pontiac.  Drove my bronze over pink 1957 Chrysler Saratoga 4dr.  I was actually rear-ended by some dip**** driving an old Cherokee.  I wish I'd had the presence of mind to take the cell phone out of her hand and throw it into the crowd!

I almost had a heart attack when i got out of my car and saw her grille all smashed, but it turned out to be old damage.  The Mighty Chrysler only suffered a slightly displaced bumper guard.

I was in the curb lane in an area plainly marked "Cruisers Only", but that didn't deter her.  The problem that I am seeing is that the wheat isn't firmly enough separated from the chaff and most of the cruise seemed to be a gigantic traffic jam, except in the designated parking areas.

The happiest (And smartest) people I saw were the ones sitting under tents on the West side of Woodward avenue in the les-congested areas between the focal points af attention.  They had an all-day parade!

We learn every year... perhaps it will be better next time!
