My parts book says that Part # 1779-955 (Stamped MDL-6013, not MDT-6001...) is for the following vehicles:
58 Plymouth, 58 Dodge, 58 Desoto, LP2 Fury, LD2-D500, LD3, LS1, ALL 8 CYLINDER.
