Re: [FWDLK] Gary Goers

Gary's been really excellent for me, and has taken care of me really well in the restoration of our 300C project.  We're not far off from placing a major order for the '56 DeSoto project, and of course we're building into our schedule the fact that Gary is always really busy.  That way, I don't need to put a rush on him.

I have no worries.

Gary is Gary and has not changed in the 20 years I have dealt with him...He provides quality product and is an asset to our industry...Either deal with him and his availability or find someone else!!  And I challenge anyone to find a better quality resource...Gary has been in business along time and will not change... Part of the frustration of a Master of a business and the sacrifice your willing to put up with for the quality many others will not or cannot provide...

I too, have tried in the past to get in touch with him about orders, without luck. It seems he is around from time to time to take orders, lime mine, and than vanishes off the face of the earth with the excuse that he is really really busy, as if he is just running around his shop 24/7 like a crazy man filling orders. I no longer even have my car for the parts that I ordered. Alot of people have had wonderful luck with him; but I as you are probably figuring out, I will not be joining his fan club any time soon. What is most strange is that during the times I could not ever get a response, others apparently were so I just can't figure it out. Maybe there is some logical reason, but as near as I can tell, I made reasonable attempts to make contact to no avail. The wait time was so long that I would forget about it until somebody would po! st something about him and his lack of communication skills and a fire would be set underneath me to try again.

Has anyone had any luck contacting Gary Goers lately for his products? I have emailed and faxed him numerous times over the last two months to find out about an order I placed a year ago. I have tried to phone him but all I get is the fax machine.
